No-Bake Matcha Energy Balls with Medjool Dates

These No-Bake Matcha Energy Balls with Medjool Dates bring together the earthy flavour of matcha and the natural sweetness of dates for a delicious little bite that’s easy to enjoy anytime.

Best of all, there’s no baking required! They’re quick to prepare, easy to keep on hand, and perfect for busy mornings, afternoon pick-me-ups, or whenever you’re craving something naturally sweet. Make a batch, pop them in the fridge, and you’ve got a convenient homemade snack ready when you are. 🌿

Recipe: (Makes 14-16 balls)

🌿 13 large medjool dates
🌿 1 cup GF rolled oats
🌿 1/2 cup almond butter
🌿 2 scoops of Nova Organics Plant Protein Powder (Matcha)
🌿 1 tablespoon flax seeds
🌿 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
🌿 1 tablespoon chia seeds
🍫 Optional: 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Remove pits from dates and soak in hot water for 10 minutes
  2. Drain medjool dates from water and process in a food processor until a paste is formed.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients (except the chocolate chips if using) to the food processor and process until thoroughly combined.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times until incorporated.
  5. Roll into golf ball-sized balls. Makes approximately 14-16 balls.
  6. Store in the fridge and enjoy as a yummy snack!
